Moroccan Art: The Use of Moroccan Leather


Using leather is a tradition in Moroccan art which has been known for many years because of its good quality and reasonable price. The production of Moroccan leather has become good income revenue for the country. They use leather in the production of belts, leather jackets, bags and suitcases, clothes, furniture’s and more. Moroccan leather provides the international market a large and diverse quantity of leather products.  

The shoe industry is the main market characterized by a wide variety of items such as sports shoes, professional shoes and leather sandals. Leather clothing, luggage and other leather goods also cover a large area in the market. Moroccan leather production has several strength and opportunities. It has a skilled labor that takes advantage of the available high quality raw materials. 

The Morocco government always supports the industry with sufficient funds so as to keep the increasing growth of the industry. As the growth of leather industry continues to grow, the people in Morocco also find a way to have an everyday income.
