Several Distinct and Their Materials


Moroccan art today is very prosperous and its craft continues to grow meeting the daily needs of their population. Moroccan craft has various trades and a surprising diversity of designs and materials. They used wool, leather, wood, sorrel, clay, and stone, marble, copper, iron, silver and gold in making their art. 


The earliest inhabitants of Morocco were the Barbers which are the pioneers in the field of craft. They are great in processing wool carpet and jewelries made of iron and silver. They are also creative in making lanterns, utensils, clay pottery as well as wood sorrel.

Moroccan art products do not only satisfy their own people but also the needs of foreigners through exports and the need for souvenir items of their tourist as well. Thousands of Moroccan families have been destined to poverty, but because of their superb craft their senses are awakened that they can actually raise money from it.
