The Art of Making Jewelries in Moroccan Art

Moroccan art in making jewelries are very popular with tourist. It is said that Moroccan silver jewelries were originally made by Jewish craftsmen. There are also regional differences in the making of the most beautiful jewelry creations.

The Barber jewelries are manufactured in the southern part of Morocco and their jewelries are considered the most gorgeous jewelry and the most noble. Morocco women often wear ornaments of silver and bronze designed with geometric and floral design.

Women put on jewelry on their dress, on their chest and on their hair as ornamental. They also use bracelets which are large and massive, decorated with pyramidal peak.  Their bracelets are made with beautiful colorful patterns and each unique piece is considered rare pieces of art. On the other hand, jewelries made of gold and decorated with precious stones such as gold and emeralds, are often worn on special occasions such as Moroccan weddings and festivities.
